I found this M1917 at a gun show. It was in pretty rough shape. Someone had ground the rear site base off and cut and sanded the stock. Although the results are on the homely side, this gun is really unique and still retains the M1917 look. I'm going to keep it like this for now and just enjoy shooting it.
